Abstract
The critical analysis of discourse in the text goes beyond the level of sentences and words and refers to the context of the situation in which the text is formed and refers to two social and linguistic approaches. In the social approach, discourse is explained as situational context, and in the linguistic approach, textual context is explained.
The book "Da" is part of the memoirs of the Holy Defense, which Hosseini discussed the resistance and sacrifices of the Iranian people against the aggression of the Baathist regime in Iraq. The purpose of this article is to reflect the discourse of resistance in the novel "Da" by relying on the analysis of Van Dyck's discourse. This book has been analyzed using the qualitative method of critical discourse analysis and Dyke. The results of the research showed that the book has Different strategies of the discourse of resistance are expressed by using different discourse structures in the axes of: patriotism, praise of martyrdom, resistance and stability of men and women who stood up against invasion and aggression for the independence of their land. The call to uphold Islamic values, which shows the author's ideology, shows the extent of the author's adherence to his claims in the axis of the resistance discourse.
