Abstract

Personality, as the most fundamental element of a play, is a omplex concept that requires understanding a complete and independent action and is not possible except by analyzing verbal, behavioral, and physical signs. The Enneagram is the latest personality recognition model in modern psychology, with the help of which it is possible to recognize each person’s personality type among the nine models. Due to the unique nature of the Iran-Iraq War, the Sacred Defense Theater is a distinct type of world theater, and proper attention to how personality is presented will be able to make the world aware of the different ideals of this battle. The book of  Khake Shirin, consisting of three plays, “In Akdi Ke Mimanad, Kamin e Jaleh, and Khak Shirin” by Hamed Mokamoli, is among the works that have won multiple awards in the field of Sacred Defense literature due to the author’s mastery of acting and directing. The present study has explored fourteen characters in these three plays from the perspective of the Enneagram in a descriptive-analytical manner. As a result, Makamelli has used two characters, the commander and the teacher, in the perfectionist type for modeling. He has also strengthened most of the martyrs with this wing, but for greater believability, he has chosen the presidential type for most of the characters, which is manifested differently in the forces of the two fronts. Due to the war theme and the critical atmosphere, the actions of most characters are in conflict with their true selves and are placed in the instinctive triad with the highest percentage. The very high frequency of the calm wing indicates that in this play, the sacred defense has led to the moral refinement and exaltation of its characters. Half of the characters also play roles at the healthiest level of mental health. Makamelli has tried as much as possible to ensure that the characters in the play are aligned before and after the war for   greater believability
