Persistence literature is a branch of world literature and in contemporary Iranian literature it is linked to the Constitutional Revolution, the Islamic Revolution and the eight years of imposed war. But undoubtedly, the eight years of sacred defense have brought the most and most extensive literary works in the field of persistence literature to Persian literature. It is obvious that in every attack on the soil of a country; resistance and defense are also formed against it. In the imposed war of Iraq against Iran, the people of our country created various and profound epic manifestations of this resistance and defense, which are described and described in various artistic and literary works, including poetry. These poems, which often have an epic aspect and approach, are known as the poetry of sacred defense. In this article, the symbols of the epic aspect and the concepts arising from it in the poems of sacred defense by Abdoljabbar Kakaei and Mohammadreza Abdolmalekian were examined. In their poems of the Sacred Defense, Abdul Jabbar Kakaei and Mohammad Reza Abdul Malekian, in addition to describing the atmosphere of the fronts and the sacrifice of the people and warriors, have also explained the ideal of the Sacred Defense and the martyrs. In addition to the praise dimension, they have also criticized and criticized those who have forgotten the path of the martyrs and their ideal and have become entangled in worldly affairs.
