Palestinian resistance literature mirrors the ideals and suffering of a society facing occupation and historical crises, and Ahmad Dahbour’s poetry artistically and critically represents the experiences and collective consciousness of his people. Using a descriptive–analytical method and grounded in Lucien Goldmann’s genetic structuralism, this study examines Dahbour’s resistance poetry in terms of comprehension and interpretation to uncover the dominant worldviews within his works, interpret their reflection of Palestinian collective awareness, and clarify the dialectical relationship between literary structures and socio historical conditions. The findings show that Dahbour’s poetry embodies several stages of Palestinian historical consciousness: the worldview of martyrdom, which views death as a meaningful act against oppression; the Abrahamic worldview of patience, which frames endurance as an active strategy for survival; the worldview of domination, expressed critically through reification, normalization of violence, and the erasure of human agency; and finally, the worldview of steadfastness, which emphasizes moral continuity in resistance and the preservation of collective memory. Ultimately, the poetic subject emerges as a transindividual and collective entity — a problematic hero seeking meaning through suffering and perseverance.
